Soy Julio César, Awó Ofun Ibori. Llevo más de dos décadas en la religión: me inicié en Palo Monte hace 23 años, hice Yoko Ocha hace 20 como hijo de Changó y hace 9 me consagré como babalawo en la rama de El Pidió Cárdena, Otura Osa, la casa a la que pertenece mi familia religiosa.
I am Julio César, Awó Ofun Ibori. I have been in the religion for over two decades: initiated in Palo Monte 23 years ago, crowned in Yoko Ocha 20 years ago as a son of Changó, and consecrated as a babalawo 9 years ago in the lineage of El Pidió Cárdena, Otura Osa, the house my religious family belongs to.
Atiendo en mi casa de Ifá en Lisboa y por videollamada a personas de Estados Unidos, Cuba, Latinoamérica y toda Europa. No necesitas estar iniciado ni saber nada de la religión para consultarte: vienes con tu problema y Orula habla.
I see people at my Ifá house in Lisbon and by video call across the United States, Cuba, Latin America and all of Europe. You do not need to be initiated or know anything about the religion to consult: you come with your problem and Orula speaks.

Casimiro, «El Pidió» Cárdena, Otura Osa, es mi abuelo de Ifá. De él nace la rama que lleva su nombre y a la que pertenece mi familia religiosa. Todo lo que hago en la estera viene de esa casa: cómo se tira, cómo se reza, cómo se hace y se cierra un ebó.
Casimiro, «El Pidió» Cárdena, Otura Osa, is my Ifá grandfather. From him comes the lineage that bears his name and to which my religious family belongs. Everything I do on the mat comes from that house: how the ékuele is cast, how one prays, how an ebó is made and closed.
Lo nombro aquí antes que a mí porque en Ifá nadie se consagra solo. Un babalawo vale por los mayores que tiene detrás, y quien se consulta conmigo se consulta también con la casa de El Pidió.
I name him here before myself because in Ifá no one is consecrated alone. A babalawo is worth the elders behind him, and whoever consults with me also consults with the house of El Pidió.

No. La mayoría de las personas que consulto no están en la religión. Vienes con lo que te preocupa y Orula habla igual.

¿La consulta por videollamada vale igual que en persona?Is a video-call consultation the same as in person?
Sí. Tiro el ékuele delante de la cámara, te enseño el signo y lo leo contigo. Lo único que cambia es que el ebó lo haces tú en tu casa con mis indicaciones, o vienes a Lisboa si Orula pide ceremonia.
Yes. I cast the ékuele in front of the camera, show you the sign and read it with you. The only difference is that you do the ebó at home following my instructions, or you come to Lisbon if Orula calls for a ceremony.
¿Qué recibo después de la consulta?What do I receive after the consultation?
El mismo día te mando por WhatsApp o email tu lectura por escrito: el signo, los consejos y la lista de ebó con lo que necesitas. Así no dependes de la memoria.
The same day I send you your reading in writing by WhatsApp or email: the sign, the advice and the ebó list with what you need. So you do not depend on memory.
¿Puedo consultar por otra persona?Can I consult on behalf of someone else?
La consulta es tuya. Puedes preguntar por tus hijos menores o por asuntos de tu casa que te afectan, pero no por un adulto que no esté presente.
The consultation is yours. You may ask about your minor children or household matters that affect you, but not about an adult who is not present.
¿Se graba la consulta?Is the consultation recorded?
Sí, solo el audio y solo para preparar tu informe escrito. Lo aceptas al reservar y te lo recuerdo al empezar. El audio se borra a los 7 días; el informe queda en tu ficha y en la mía, y no sale de ahí.
Yes, audio only and only to prepare your written report. You agree when booking and I remind you at the start. The audio is deleted after 7 days; the report stays in your file and mine, and goes nowhere else.
¿Cómo pago y qué pasa si tengo que cambiar la cita?How do I pay and what if I need to reschedule?
Pagas con PayPal al reservar. En el email de confirmación tienes un enlace para cambiar la fecha hasta 24 horas antes; después de ese plazo la consulta se da por hecha.
You pay with PayPal when booking. Your confirmation email has a link to reschedule up to 24 hours before; after that the consultation is considered given.
